The Reservoir That Deserves Its Own Filter

A cart is the right answer for most machines, because most machines do not justify dedicated hardware. But there is usually a short list that does — the gearbox that shuts the line down, the hydraulic reservoir with a long lead time on parts, the system where the cost of contamination is measured in downtime rather than in oil.

For those, a panel unit removes the variable: it is mounted, plumbed and wired in once, then filters on its own schedule rather than on the maintenance round. Everything is laid out on a carbon steel panel about 24″ × 12″ × 29″, so it mounts to a wall, a stand or the equipment itself.

These are the only units in the range that ship without a cord. Electric models are wired into the installation rather than plugged in, and air models run off shop air — which is the point: nothing to unplug, nothing to wheel away.

The two series take different elements — different length, thread and pressure rating — so stock to the series you run. Outside Canada the D-Series water-removal element is P1048WR-USA.

Two Series, One Panel

Both series use the same carbon steel panel, footprint, pump and motor options. They differ in the filter heads, the indicator, the switch gear, and weight.

Finer Standard Element

Aluminium heads with pop-up indicators and a sealed on/off switch, shipping with water-removal and finer 3 micron elements. Roughly 30 lb lighter, which matters when it is going on a wall.
