Some equipment never comes back to the shop. The Lube Crawler is a powered, walk-behind lube service transporter on off-road wheels, carrying two 30 gallon steel tanks — one of new oil going out, one taking the waste oil back. One trip, both jobs, no cans.
The Lube Crawler is a Lubrigard design, manufactured in-house. It is not a re-badged catalogue item and it is not available from anyone else — which also means the specification is ours to change. Tell us the job and we will build the cart around it.
Mine sites, quarries, forestry, marine, heavy construction, rail yards — the equipment that most needs clean oil is often the equipment furthest from a lube room. The usual answer is cans, funnels and several trips across broken ground, which is slow, dirty and precisely how contamination gets into a reservoir.
The Lube Crawler is the alternative: a powered chassis on off-road wheels that carries the whole lube service to the machine in one go. New oil is dispensed from one tank under pneumatic piston pressure; waste oil is drawn straight back into the second tank through a pneumatic diaphragm pump. The drain and the fill happen in the same visit, with the used oil contained the moment it leaves the machine.
Because both tanks are modular and removable, they come off for cleaning, for fluid changeover, or to reconfigure the cart for a different job entirely.
Each side of the cart has its own pump suited to what it moves — piston pressure for clean oil going out, diaphragm suction for dirty oil coming back.
Fill the new oil tank at the lube room, from bulk storage or a POD, before the cart leaves.
The powered chassis and off-road wheels take the full load across ground a trolley cart will not cross.
The pneumatic diaphragm pump draws the used oil out through a 6 ft suction hose and 1″ × 36″ suction pipe, straight into the waste tank.
The pneumatic piston pump refills the reservoir from the clean tank. Both tanks come back for emptying and reloading.
