Taught by the team that manages your program

WearCheck

Not generic theory — your program, your data

Every instructor at an Oil Insights session is part of the WearCheck team — the analysts, account managers and technical specialists who write your sample comments and set your alarm limits. They’re not teaching generic oil analysis theory. They’re walking you through your program, your test packages and your data.

That’s the difference between a training session and a day spent learning exactly how to get more from the program you’re already paying for.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be an existing WearCheck customer to attend?
Oil Insights is designed for WearCheck customers — either new to the program or looking to get more from an established one. If you’re evaluating WearCheck and want to understand what’s included before signing up, contact Paul Dumont to discuss.
Do I need an oil analysis background?
No. We start from the ground up — what a sample is, what the tests measure, and how to build a program that fits your operation. Teams with existing programs will get the most value from the WebCheck, ADOAPT and lubrication management sessions.
Which equipment does Oil Insights cover?
This is the plant and industrial program. Client setup, sampling, test package selection and lubrication management are all built around fixed industrial machinery — gearboxes, hydraulics, compressors, turbines and large reservoirs. Your session is focused on the equipment you actually run.
What’s the Oil Insights Workbook?
Every attendee receives a program workbook during the session. You work through it with the instructor — it captures your machine database plan, test package selections, alarm limits and next steps. You take it with you at the end of the day.
Can we run this at our facility?
Yes — on-site delivery for teams of six or more is the standard delivery model. Talk to Paul Dumont to schedule a session built around your own equipment and program data.
We already have a WearCheck program. Is Oil Insights still useful?
Especially so. Many established programs aren’t using WebCheck’s full feature set, haven’t configured management reports, or haven’t connected their CMMS via ADOAPT. The session is structured so existing customers can focus on the modules most relevant to where their program is today.
Is this a certification course?
No. Oil Insights has no exam. It’s a practical platform and program training session. If certification is your goal, look at our MLA-1 / MLT-1 or OMA programs — Oil Insights pairs well with both as a foundation.
I’m attending SMRP — how do I get to the lab?
The WearCheck USA lab is a short trip from the show. We’ll send directions and logistics details with your confirmation once you register.
Will there be additional sessions after SMRP?
Yes. On-site delivery at customer facilities is available now. Additional public sessions at WearCheck Canada (Burlington, ON) and WearCheck USA (Cary, NC) will be posted after the October 1 launch. Contact Paul Dumont or ask to be added to the notification list.
